Backup Battery: The Multi Zone includes a 1-hr backup battery with an option to upgrade to 10-hrs, while the PD6500i has an optional 10-hr backup battery.
Dual Detection: Multi Zone utilises Single Detection, while the PD6500i is a Dual Detection system.
Synchronization: Both models synchronize with wired and wireless operations, but Multi Zone includes an auto frequency scan.

The Multi Zone’s bright LED indicators are highly visible in the brightest sunlight. The unit’s 20 vertical zones provide precise pinpointing for one or more objects simultaneously, and advanced circuitry allows multiple detectors to operate as close as 2 inches from each other. Operator adjustments are simple, thanks to an intuitive menu design and slider bar settings access. The Multi Zone also includes an Auto Setup feature that chooses the optimal operating frequency based on the electromagnetic environment.

EASY ASSEMBLY
The  Multi  Zone's  modular  design  allows quick  and  simple  assembly  of  its  four  (4) sub assemblies using only eight (8) screws and three (3) internal cable connections.
